#ReliefPH Typhoon Maring: How to Help

As promised, I listed down some information that I got online so we could help those that were affected by Typhoon Maring. You can just choose one that you will find the most convenient for now since the weather might not be that good to go out. The important thing now is we take small steps to help others.

PHILIPPINE RED CROSS
You will see in their link that they have listed a lot of ways on how we can donate in cash or in kind. I think from their list, the most convenient will be the SMS donation and cash donation through 7-11 stores.

SMS
Text RED<space>AMOUNT to 2899 (Globe) or 4143 (Smart)
G-Cash
Text DONATE<space>AMOUNT<space>4-digit M-PIN<space>REDCROSS to 2882
You can donate the following denominations:
Globe: 5, 25, 100, 300, 500 or 1000
Smart: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000

Here is the information of red cross from their website:

Email us: fundgeneration@redcross.org.ph
Call Hotline 143
or (+632) 527.0000
NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS
Bonifacio Drive, Port Area
Manila 1018, Philippines

DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY
Since I am an alumna of DLSU Manila, this is still my first option for donation/volunteer work. The link will show the details regarding what you may donate as part of their relief programs of the different La Salle Schools. Here's one detail about the monetary donation and volunteering from the link:

  • Peso Account: 1296-714778
  • US Dollar Account:  8296-001156
     Swift Code: RCBC PHMM
We request you to email the validated deposit slip to bee.cruz@delasalle.ph for proper acknowledgment and issuance of official receipt. You may also opt to fax it to +63 2 721 5049.

Volunteer registration is at the Taft Campus Front Gate on 22 August starting at 10:00am. For volunteering information, please contact Ms. Meps Artagame (+63 923 907 9148).
