Budget Outfit: Casual Wear for Valentine's Day (less than $10!)
For the past years, I have been enjoying dressing up for Valentine's Day as my colleagues like to have a lunch out for this occasion. Normally I like to wear dress as it makes me feel more feminine, but for a change, I thought of coming up with a casual outfit.
I bought this cute top from Target last January from the Kids Section (they are the ones that normally fit me) and when I saw the design and the price, which is $2.50 by the way (sale), I knew it could be a basis for a Heart's Day outfit. I thought of pairing it up with my white shorts from H&M that I bought from our Las Vegas trip last year. This was $5.00 when I bought it. So my entire outfit (top and bottom) only costs a total of $7.50 (plus tax)! What a steal right? I have worn the shorts over and over by the way as they were easy to match with any top.
This particular pair of sneakers is from Etnies.com. It was my husband who love this brand at first and we got mine for free when he shopped online last December. I will discuss more details about it on a separate post after I used it a couple of times so I can give a better review.
So what do you think about this outfit? Would you wear something like this on Valentine's Day? Feel free to share your thoughts on the comments section below. Have an awesome day everyone!
